About Warrington Yoga Classes & Studios

Unlike other types of exercise programs, yoga tends to be more calming and beneficial for the mind as well as the body. This is why it's so popular all over the world today! It’s a myth that only a specific ‘type’ of person does yoga. In fact, joining a yoga class in Warrington will open your eyes to just how welcoming yoga can be. At first glance, it seems that yoga is marketed towards women but Warrington yoga classes can consist of men, children, seniors, athletes, and non-athletes.

Which Warrington Yoga Classes are for me?

Personal preference is almost always the factor at play when choosing the right yoga style for you. Here are some of the most popular yoga styles and what they’re known for:

  1. Bikram Yoga – A type of Hot Yoga involving a set series of 26 poses and two breathing exercises
  2. Ashtanga Yoga – Fast-paced, uses six pose sequences
  3. Iyengar Yoga – Slow-paced, with focus on precision of alignment
  4. Aerial Yoga – Gravity-defying yoga poses on silk hammocks
  5. Yin Yoga – Slow-paced, with passive floor poses held for long periods of time

Choosing a Yoga Studio in Warrington

Do a quick search on the Yoga Studios in Warrington and have a look at what types of classes they offer. Also factor in the actual distance of the yoga studio and how easy it is to get there – the nearer and easier it is to get to the studio, the less likely you can make excuses not to go. Remember, by taking yoga classes you’re investing in your health and wellness! If you prefer, there are also yoga instructors that offer private one to one yoga classes in your own home. However, consider that you must be in a space that is free from distractions in order to fully experience a yoga class the right way!

IYN Yoga Elder Feel Now Yoga Director Sensible Yoga School Director Practising yoga since 1977 Teaching yoga since 1999 I was introduced to asana, pranayama, mantra & meditation by my mother. An introverted child; I was fascinated by the opportunity these practices gave me to explore my inner space and find peace away from the busy, noisy life of my family. As an IYN Yoga Elder & Yoga Teacher Training School Director, I facilitate independent & experiential Sensible Yoga Teacher Training Courses based on the philosophy & principles of Feel Now Yoga, and Sensible Yoga for Sensitive Individuals. I deliver yoga classes, workshops, meditation groups, therapeutic yoga & private yoga tuition. I am more interested in helping people discover joint health & the natural yoga being state through self enquiry than in pursuing advanced asana, especially given the new research into yoga posture practice from luminaries such as Peter Blackaby & Leslie Kaminoff in relation to moving beyond structural models of anatomy. Feel Now Yoga classes and trainings are much more about inclusivity than exclusivity & offer a safe, accessible & supportive framework which each individual can use to facilitate their own experiential exploration of self. My private classes are at Whittle-le-Woods village hall near Chorley. They are all principled mixed ability classes; equally suitable for beginners wanting to relax & reduce stress as they are for experienced yogins wanting to become more intimate with their experience of the natural yoga being state. Future Feel Now Yoga training courses: Deep Yoga Foundation Course: Nov 2019 - June 2020 Sensible Yoga Teacher Training Course: Oct 2019 - Dec 2020 Debbie also teaches the Anatomy and Professional Studies modules on the Mandala Yoga Ashram’s Teacher Training Course.
