From humble beginnings Feel Hot Yoga began back in 2010 with portable heaters, tripping fuses in school halls. Quickly the classes grew and the need for proper heat and humidity in a dedicated studio became pressing so we opened Feel Hot St Albans in summer 2011. We soon realised the best teachers were the ones we trained ourselves, so we established FHY Teacher Training School to guarantee the highest level of teaching (as accredited by Yoga Alliance UK / Yoga Alliance Professionals). In 2012 we won Best New Business and in 2013 Feel Hot Watford opened it’s doors.

Through practise of postures, Iyengar yoga is characterised by it's careful study of the body, where learning is guided and monitored with adjustments. Lisa a certified Iyengar yoga teacher, Qualified to Junior Intermediate level 3. She works from a peaceful garden studio in Bushey Heath. Yoga is a combination of breathing exercises, physical postures, and meditation that has been practiced for more than 5,000 years. Through yoga it may be possible to begin to realize the capabilities of the mind and body. With regular practice, every day life has the capability to be transformed through the knowledge and personal understanding you may gain over time. In an Iyengar yoga class, precise instruction is given, errors are corrected. Yoga has been known to improve Positivity, Alignment, Concentration, Flexibility, Muscle tone, Confidence and General well-being. Everyone is welcome to these friendly classes including beginners and non-toe-touchers!

A Devoted Iyengar Practitioner Silver Yoga was established in 2014 when Liz Bolton, its founder and lead teacher, retired from her busy PR consultancy to indulge in her great love - teaching yoga. After many years of practice and a teaching training course under the guidance of internationally recognised teacher, Heather Elton, Liz started by teaching small groups and private students as well as leading classes at the Nuffield Health studios in Brondesbury, London. In 2015 she began to run her own five day yoga workshops at Les Soeurs Anglaises' stunning studios in South West France. ​
