The art of violin playing encompasses tone production, rhythm, musical knowledge and awareness and developing sight-reading skills and a good all round knowledge of music theory. Students who learn the violin with me will be taught how to hold the violin correctly in order to maximise tone production. Standing correctly and making sure you have the violin on your shoulder and not your chest whilst at the same time holding the violin up are crucial and I aim to guide you in the art of violin playing whether it is for pleasure or taking a graded violin exam with ABRSM or Trinity.
