The British Association of Martial Arts is specially structured to teach the students how to BUILD THEIR CONFIDENCE, AVOID BEING BULLIED, DEFEND THEMSELVES ON THE STREET, INSTIL DISCIPLINE, GET FIT AND IMPROVE CONCENTRATION. Unlike many other martial arts that are rigid in their methods and rules, B.A.M.A. teaches techniques based on what it feels are the most appropriate for street defence. We understand that not all students can do high spinning kicks and such like, so emphasis is placed on what will work for the individual student. The Eagle Kickboxing Academy is just a short walk from Birmingham city centre, located in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter, 10 mins walk from the canals and Barclaycard arena. The area has excellent road and rail links. Birmingham Snow Hill and the Jewellery Quarter stations are within a 10 minute’s walk. The Eagle Kickboxing Academy concentrates on flexibility, stretching, body conditioning, stamina and toning. We also prepare our students physically and mentally, to build confidence in their own abilities, and to recognise their full potential by combining a wide range of martial arts, k-1 kickboxing skills and self-defence techniques. Our classes are structured specifically to children’s, beginners, intermediate, advanced, personal training, group and corporate sessions, to help each individual to achieve their personal martial arts and fitness goals. Martial Arts cover various activities that involve many different fighting and self-defence techniques, physical exercise and methods of mental discipline for the mind, body and spirit. Our Aims and Objectives 1. To improve the health, fitness, well-being and confidence of both children and adults within the community. 2.
